We walk this Way to grow in knowledge and love of our Lord, to strengthen the Light and resist the Darkness within and without, and to strive to live each day within the Word and still within the world. We believe that traditional worship is still valuable and relevant to contemporary society.

We are in need of an organist to play at our services, typically up to 2 hrs for the Sunday service (hymns from the Hymnal 1940 plus service music). We have a new Rodgers Inspire Classic 227 organ and would love someone looking to build their experience to exercise it. Compensation negotiable. 30 October 2009 - The Right Reverend Arthur David Seeland, Requiescat in Pace

The Right Reverend Arthur David Seeland, Bishop Ordinary Emeritus of the Diocese of the Pacific and Southwest, entered into glory this past Friday, 23 October. A Requiem Mass will be offered at the Church at 10 am Saturday morning, on what would have been his 88th birthday.

18 October 2009 - Bishop Rasch Travels to Council of Bishops

Bishop Rasch will be traveling from Monday, 19 October, through Friday, 23 October, to attend a meeting of the College of Bishops and the Ecumenical Congress held at St. James’ Cathedral in Kansas City, Missouri. There will be no Midweek Mass this week. During his absence, in the event of a pastoral emergency, please contact Senior Warden Gretchen Martin who will contact Fr. Ashman or the Bishop. For non-emergency matters, you may leave your message on the rectory answering machine.

Please remember the College and the Congress in your prayers for guidance throughout the session and for safe travel for all participants.

13 October 2009 - Ecumenical Congress and Council of Bishops

The College of Bishops of the Holy Catholic Church – Anglican Rite will meet in conjunction with the Ecumenical Congress being held 20-22 October at St. James’ Cathedral, Kansas City, Missouri.

13 October 2009 - Sacrament of Penance

The Sacrament of Penance (Private Confession) will be available at the Altar Rail at the Church from 10 to 11 am on the third Saturday of the month.



Almighty God, who hast given us this good land for our heritage; We humbly beseech thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of thy favour and glad to do thy will. Bless our land with honourable industry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogancy, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, through obedience to thy law, we may show forth thy praise among the nations of the earth.
