The Sesnon Wildfire started on Monday morning, 13 October, near Oat Mountain in the northern San Fernando Valley. It quickly spread to threaten homes and businesses from Granada Hills to Chatsworth. One leg of the fire moved down through Chatsworth through the hills behind the church. Volunteers helped remove valuables from the church with heavy smoke visible nearby. The fires also came near the homes of several parishoners. At this time, the church appears to be outside the active fire area. Please continue to pray for the safety of the firefighters and all at risk.
