High Mass (Trinity XVI)

We will celebrate the Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity and Anticipation of the Feast of St. Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist, with a High Mass. This is also the 117th anniversary of the founding of the Pioneer Church – take a look at the building’s history, authored by late parishioner Virginia Watson. This also marks the 6th anniversary of the Consecration of the Rt. Reverend Clifford A. Bulloch, our Diocesan Bishop Coadjutor, to the Episcopate. Monday, 20 September, is the 13th anniversary of Bishop Rasch to the Episcopate.

O God,the Pastor and Ruler of all thy faithful people: look down in mercy upon thy servants Anthony and Clifford upon the anniversaries of their Consecration; and evermore guide, defend, comfort, sanctify, and save them, and grant them by thy grace so to advance in word and good example, that they, with the flock committed to their charge, may attain to everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Bishop Rasch is planning to celebrate and preach. The Zoom service will continue for our remote congregants and those who are not yet ready to assume the risk of attending indoor services.
